Do you see what I see?
I think there is an owl in the cavity of that tree, peering out at me! I was taking general shots from the lake shore and didn't realize there might be an owl looking out at me.
What do you think, readers? Is it a living creature, or just a coincidental look-alike in the formation of the old stump?

ReplyDeleteHi, Angie! Ok, so I'm not imagining things. Good! I would guess that cavity in the tree is 8 to 10 feet off the ground.
DeleteI showed these pictures to a raptor expert and he confirmed that it is, indeed, an owl. He was even able to tell me that it is a bared owl! I'm so pumped!
